Mesmerized

     I was on my uncle's boat, mesmerized by the movement of the water, the stillness over the whole river flat as far as I could see, the pattern of the spray, the rush of the wind, the blue sky and wispy clouds. I imagined the Sea of Galilee. The winds and waves bowing to the Son of Man. Calm water, gentle breeze, dolphins and manatees. The sun was beautiful too, and warm. I watched the silver rays shine and dance on the water. It was a spiritual ride this time. One of praise. I was lost in my internal world. My soul began to feel at ease. I was truly mesmerized.
